The power mirror switch usually has a whole host of inputs to power the different motors in the mirror. When the buttons are pressed it completes the circuit and sends power to the motor that controls that movement. The new switch will have the wiring connected and then the assembly will be tested. Once that’s all good, they will clip the switch into the holder. The trim will be refitted and the car is good to go!
