How will you know if your AC needs a repair?
The most common symptom is a lack of cold air, however there are other ways your AC system will let you know its on its last legs. Listen out for the odd squeal or whistle sound from the fans, or even grinding noise from under the bonnet. These can be signs its time to get your AC looked at.
How much can I expect to pay for an AC repair?
This will depend on what needs fixing, but you can expect the average cost of repairs to be around $350 - $400. This will cover things like AC re-gasing, relay replacements or fixing broken switches. More significant repairs, like replacing fan motors or condensers cost upwards of $700+.
